Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)

SGPA = (C1 G1 + C2 G2 + C3 G3 + ..... + Cn Gn ) / (C1 + C2+ C3+ .... + Cn)

CGPA = (C1 G1 + C2 G2 + C3 G3 + ..... + Cm Gm ) / (C1 + C2+ C3+ .... + Cm)

(n=number of subjects during the semester,C1,C2.....Cn is the number of credits allotted to the subject

G1,G2,...Gn grade point awarded to the student for the subject.C1,C2..Cm m is the number of total subject registered up  

to that semester (at end of each semester))

Attendance

 Minimum Attendance :- 75%

Vice Chancellor to grant condonation of shortage of attendance on the recommendation of the head of the institution 

  condonation :- 10% 

 (20% condoned once during the entire course provided  with genuine medical grounds)
